OH Happy Day!!!!!!!!

Just wanted everyone to know that our "Rebel" walked the line tonight and graduated with the class of 2009 from Cannon County High School....We are so proud of her!!!! This is suppose to be where they throw their caps but you can barely see them...look closely now!!!

Kris Allen The New American Idol!!!!!

Just wanted to say that I am happy for Kris Allen. I thought he deserved to win, even though I also loved Adam, I was rootin for Kris the whole season!!!! I also think this was the best season finally ever in American Idol history. They had some amazing stars performing. Go Kiss and Queen!!!!

Baby Shower for Tuff

A big kudos to April for putting together this sweet shower for Ashley. We had a great time with friends and family and Ashley and Jordan got lots of sweet baby things for Tuff.

Happy Mother's Day

I hope all the mothers out there have a happy and blessed day.... Happy Mothers Day Mom, I love you and you will always be my hero!!!! And Happy Mothers Day to my Mother in Law who I couldn't have been any luckier to have in my life. I love both of these women and don't know what I would do without them.

On to some new updates on April and Brandon's adoption of Harrison. They have raised all the funds needed at this point and now have a 165 page booklet to complete and turned back in before they can proceed any further. April was a little aggravated with their agency because they could have given them this booklet sooner. But we all know there is always a wrench thrown into the process every time.

Be patient honey, it will all come together in God's time.

I have a few pics I would like to post but I'm not sure I am allowed to at this time. So I will ask April and if she says yes I will come back and add them.

I know it's been a while since I have updated on belly pics and I'm sorry about that. So this is Ashley at 30 weeks

and now here is our little Tuff after his 3D ultrasound. We think he has his daddy's nose and lips. I think he is just the most beautiful little baby boy with his chubby cheeks and sweet little nose and lips. I really can't wait til he gets here.

Well, after we sent BreeAnn off to prom me, boogs, Victoria, Ashley, Jordan and Dalton went to eat at Red Lobster and had a really good time. Then it was off to Lowes to get prices on blinds for my windows and a new rug for the dining room. Maybe next week I will have some before and after pics to show.

Well What A Break!!

My little break post got the attention of my sweet Ashley. I felt so bad when she called me first thing the next morning and asked me if I needed a break from her!!! Of course I felt like the biggest heal there is!!!! My week had just been filled with whining, pouting, depression, requests and I just got so overwhelmed and I wasn't dealing well with everything.

We are so excited about this opportunity that April and Brandon have to adopt sweet Harrison. They are almost at their needed goal for this process to move to step #2. It's really exciting and I will have my hands full when I both grandsons at the same time. I will have to get use to getting overwhelmed more often than once a month or so. HeHe!!! I think that will be a good overwhelming though.

We went and ate lunch with our girls today (except for BreeAnn) and then me, Tori, her friend Ashley, and my Ashley and Jordan went bowling. It was nice to go do something fun with the kids. Then I took Tori to get some new tennis shoes for school and a few things for summer. We had a great day.

BreeAnn's little concert got cancelled due to flooding here in middle Tn so it will be held on the 23rd of May the day after graduation. We have a full month this month and I am so excited about all the happenings. I will be sure to post some pics. We have prom this Friday, baby shower the next Saturday the 16th and then graduation on the 22nd.

I am truly blessed with my life and I am truly ashamed for complaining. I have a wonderful husband, wonderful children and will soon have 2( yes I said 2) grandsons this year!!! So I will think long and hard the next time I get overwhelmed. I thank my Jesus everyday for my family and all the blessings He bestows on me each and everyday.

I Need a Break Please!!! and a few updates!!!

Well, I started this post earlier but decided I had better wait a while before I posted. Today has been really draining for me. I just feel like I need a break!!! Just a Break...That's all!!!!! I don't really want to go into what I need a break from because if you knew me well, you would know that I DON'T like to hurt feelings. So that is all I am going to say on that issue!!!!

Tonight I went to a gold party held for my daughter April and hubby Brandon. You take all your old gold jewelry that is broken, knotted or in perfect shape, that you don't want or need anymore and it gets appraised and weighed and you get money for it. 10% of your earnings went to April to go towards their adoption fees....Yes, I said adoption. I haven't really posted about it yet but they have a referral for a baby boy and if they raise the needed amount of money by May 6 they will be getting to love and nurture this sweet little boy as their own. We are all super excited and can't wait to meet Harrison.. That's his name that they have given him and he is just the sweetest little baby. So if all goes well we will have another grandson in 4 to 6 months.

Please say a prayer for April and Brandon and also baby Harrison.

As for baby Tuff...He is growing stronger everyday. We can't wait to meet him in July. We are having a baby shower for Ashley and Jordan in the next few weeks so that will be exciting.

Victoria was finally tested at school and she did test with a learning disability so starting next year she will be learning new ways to learn. Did that make sense???? Anyway it has been a long time of waiting but hopefully she will be getting the help she needs.

BreeAnn is getting ready for graduation. Two and half more weeks.. Can I hear a big Woo to the Hoo Please????? She will be singing in Tennessee's Got Talent in McMinnville this Saturday at 2p.m. at the fair grounds. There are 20 finalists and if she wins she will get to sing at the Warren Co. Fair. So if you are looking for something fun to do this weekend head on out to McMinnville, Tn and it also benefits Breast Cancer. So it will also be fun and a good cause.
