Ocilla, Georgia's On My Mind!!!! What a Blast!!!!

Meet Deana Hester!!! My Best Friend!!! We Celebrated our reunion this past weekend and what a celebration it was!!! I love you Deana!!!!My stop in Ocilla, Ga was all about me and my BEST FRIEND in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD, getting to see each other and visit for the first time in 4 YEARS!!!!! Yes, I said 4 YEARS!!!! So this picture is what we did for 2 short days and 3 nights!!! We had the best time just hanging out and catching up. The words that I would use to describe my friend is sweet, loving, honest, passionate in all things, caring, spirited, outgoing, crazy, fun, and creative (you should see her home. it's so cutie cutie!!). I could go on and on but what I want to say is that Deana is the best friend anyone could ever have. But I am going to be a little stingy and say that she is taken!!! As you can tell we did nothing but laugh and smile all weekend!!We did celebrate as the picture above says.
I also got to spend the Saturday laughing, watching movies and playing cranium (which I was terrible at) with her beautiful girls, Erin above and Krista below, that I love just like my own.

I'm Back and Feeling Better!!!

Well our Spring Break trip was great except for me being sick until Wednesday and we left on Thursday. Turns out the 5th Disease for me included swelling in my joints. Especially my wrists, fingers and neck. So I had to deal with that most of time but I had a great time just visiting. I love to just go home and visit. Not really go, go, go but just to be home is the best feeling to me. Here is my mom and me on Sunday afternoon at my sisters.

My nephew Robert (which we call Bubba) that I love so much. He has such a sweet and loving heart for a young man his age.

We have this place called Baxter's Wings in our town and we love to go when we go down because they have the best wings EVER and also on Wednesday nights they have Karaoke which is fun for Breeann since she is the one who can sing in the family.

I got to spend some time with my "Ole Faithful" and her two girls at Baxters. Since I had been sick all week and so had she we only got to see each other for a few hours. We will make up for lost time this summer.

So this is week 22. I have to say that my little Tuffster is growing like a weed!!!! We are leaving on Friday the 20th to head down to Florida to see my family and I know Tuff will be even bigger by the time I get back. Oh boy I never knew these milestones mattered just a much as if he was here already. I'm sure I will have my hands full but I am so ready. I can't wait to see his little face, eyes, toes, fingers....I keep imagining who he will look like and what kind of personality he will have. I hope he has a sweet spirit and loving heart but whatever kind of personality he has I will love.
Pray for me because we have Fifth Disease going around our schools and I am the lucky one out of the 5 workers that I work with that has the pleasure of having this yukkie stuff. It's not really a big deal but I have been nauseated all week, lymph nodes enlarged behind my ears and now today I have the rash that signifies I am not contagious anymore. It's just GROSS!!!!

So I won't be blogging until I get back so hopefully I will have some updated pics. Yall have a great week and don't miss me too bad!!! HeHe!!

Tuffster's Bedding

Just thought I would put up a few pics of Tuffster's bedding.... Yep! That's right...I already have a nickname for him...HeHe!! Anyway, Ashley made his name out of some letters that she got at Hobby Lobby and they turned out really sweet. Take a look!!!!

Now I know this is a little late but I took this pic last weekend with my cell phone and I didn't think that it downloaded but low and behold I found it!!! This is on our back deck and as you can see we had a winter wonderland for about 3 hours and then it started to melt. It actually stayed on the ground a few days but the roads were all clear and so that means we didn't get a snow day from school. But I love having just one good snow each winter and it finally came.

Party of The Year!!! Happy Birthday Tori!!! We Love You!!

Happy Birthday Tori!!! I can't believe you are 11 years old. Where does time go. I hope you had a great party and weekend. Even though we celebrated a week early.

This past Friday night we had Tori's 11th birthday party. I say it was the party of the year because we let her invite 4 of her boy "friends" from her class. Now I know that doesn't seem like a really big deal because anytime you have a class party at the bowling alley or skating rink boys are included in her class. But for some reason since we had the party at our home it was a BIG deal!!! Well it ended up being the best birthday party we have ever had. Any other party where there were just girls there always ended up being so much drama. But we had a great time. The kids played football, WII and kareoke. I have a little glimpse of hubby putting on a little show for the kiddos. These are the girls acting like girls.... As you can see in the 2nd pic that even 11 year olds are texting now!!! My Ashley will have a birthday coming up on March 26th and as you can see she is starting to celebrate a little early. She will be turning 23!!!!

Me and Boogs and....

Tori and BreeAnn will be heading home to Florida to see....My mom...who I love and miss so much and...

my 2 sisters and their family that I also miss and love so much...This has been a long overdue visit since I haven't been home since last June due to the economic crisis that we are in. Hubby hasn't been for about 2 years so he is really excited.

5 Inches of Snow!!!

That's what we woke up to this morning. Now before you get all excited and expect to see some pics, I didn't get any. I couldn't find my camera and I also have misplaced my USB cord so maybe you could head over to http://blessingsamidchaos.blogspot.com/ and my cuz Patrice will have a few to take a peek at.

So today has been one lazy day. I have been waiting on one good snow this year. Of course, it had to happen on a weekend so I don't know if we will get a snow day that we all look forward to when it snows here. We will see in the morning. I love to stay inside while the kids go out and make snowmen. BreeAnn and her boyfriend Nathan made a huge snowman so I hope I can get a pic off of her phone to post. This was the most snow that BreeAnn has seen since she moved here over a year ago. So I was excited for her.

So on to another note....I am on a mission to redecorate my bedroom. My inspiration room is the HGTV 2009 Dream Home Guest Bedroom.

Now I know I won't get it to look exactly like this but I love the way the bed is so casual yet so comfy looking. I love yellow and red together and also the black really gives it some punch. The rug is my absolute fav but I can't seem to find it anywhere....And I'm sure I wouldn't be able to afford it anyway. So I will be looking for something similar. I have always put our room on the back burner so now I have made up my mind that our room will be my next big project. I did find a white matlesse cover at Dillards yesterday for $27.00. YAY Me!!!! It was originally $139.00. I couldn't believe it. I never find deals that good. Anyway, so I am on to finding some other items that will help me achieve my goal. I will get pics up once it is all done which might be a while but it will get done.
