I Need a Break Please!!! and a few updates!!!

Well, I started this post earlier but decided I had better wait a while before I posted. Today has been really draining for me. I just feel like I need a break!!! Just a Break...That's all!!!!! I don't really want to go into what I need a break from because if you knew me well, you would know that I DON'T like to hurt feelings. So that is all I am going to say on that issue!!!!

Tonight I went to a gold party held for my daughter April and hubby Brandon. You take all your old gold jewelry that is broken, knotted or in perfect shape, that you don't want or need anymore and it gets appraised and weighed and you get money for it. 10% of your earnings went to April to go towards their adoption fees....Yes, I said adoption. I haven't really posted about it yet but they have a referral for a baby boy and if they raise the needed amount of money by May 6 they will be getting to love and nurture this sweet little boy as their own. We are all super excited and can't wait to meet Harrison.. That's his name that they have given him and he is just the sweetest little baby. So if all goes well we will have another grandson in 4 to 6 months.

Please say a prayer for April and Brandon and also baby Harrison.

As for baby Tuff...He is growing stronger everyday. We can't wait to meet him in July. We are having a baby shower for Ashley and Jordan in the next few weeks so that will be exciting.

Victoria was finally tested at school and she did test with a learning disability so starting next year she will be learning new ways to learn. Did that make sense???? Anyway it has been a long time of waiting but hopefully she will be getting the help she needs.

BreeAnn is getting ready for graduation. Two and half more weeks.. Can I hear a big Woo to the Hoo Please????? She will be singing in Tennessee's Got Talent in McMinnville this Saturday at 2p.m. at the fair grounds. There are 20 finalists and if she wins she will get to sing at the Warren Co. Fair. So if you are looking for something fun to do this weekend head on out to McMinnville, Tn and it also benefits Breast Cancer. So it will also be fun and a good cause.

Well that's it my bloggy friends. Hope you all have a great and blessed weekend.

Blah!! Just Blah!!

I haven't really in the mood for much blogging this past week. I haven't really been in the mood to do much of anything this past week. I think the weather has really gotten to me. The tornadoes that our neighbors in the next town endured has really been on my mind. We are all grateful that not many people were killed. The mother and her 3 month old baby was just a tragedy. But there were a lot of lives that have been changed forever. We just have to have faith and trust in Him that this happened for His glory.

Our Rebel (BreeAnn) left today for her senior trip so this will be a really fun week for her. I hope she savors it all so she will have some great memories. Then she auditioned for Tennessee's Got Talent and was chosen as one of 20 to compete on the second of May. This will benefit Breast Cancer so it is for a great cause and she will get to meet a lot of new people and use her singing talent which she loves to do. Out of the 20 finalists they will pick one to sing at the local fair in that town. Then on May 8th she has prom and then May 16th we will be having a baby shower to welcome baby Tuff and May 22nd BreeAnn will be graduating from high school and getting ready for college and becoming a real adult. So I have a busy month this coming month. Maybe I have so much going on that I am just feeling overwhelmed.

Victoria was finally tested and we will find out the results of that on Monday the 27th. So I am definitely anxious about that outcome.

We have 5 more weeks of school left and I have to say that I can't wait. I love my job and I love the ladies that I work with but I am just exhausted. I need a rest from all the mental stress and I think all this blahness will go away.

Well that's it folks. Just wanted to update everyone.

Hope everyone has a blessed and great week!!!!

Cheddar's, Painting, Target and Tornadoes!!

Today my cuz Patrice was painting her kitchen a new kinda "palest of blue". So I just decided I would invite myself over to help with this big task. Her kitchen was Burgundy and dark so I was thinking it would 5o coats of paint and two weeks of being sore before this would get done. Well turns out it only took two coats and one trip to the paint store to get it just right. We still have the peeks to tackle in her kitchen but it has turned really pretty and I love it. Also, while I was there Good Friday turned out to be a stressful time because it did take us longer to paint due to tornadoes being on the ground all around us. So you can see I was half glued to the tv when I should have been painting. But BreeAnn was missing and my Ashley is my little weather girl who totally hates bad weather and she will sit in front of the tv tracking every little red, purple, blue and whatever other color indicates bad weather and keep us up to date. Well, she was at work and I knew she would be scared. So I called her work to make sure she was in a safe place and no answer!!! Called her cell and no answer!! Ok I am in panic mode by now and finally get in touch with her fiance and he says they are fine. Finally find BreeAnn and all is well so back to painting I went. So you can see in the pic that we had a lot of damage in our neighboring town. Please keep these families in your prayers as they try to pick up the pieces and get their lives back to some normalcy. On another note: The ladies (that I work with at my school ) and I went out to celebrate the birth of Denisha's baby boy that will make his presence on May 5, 2009. Well, Denisha ended up with an ear infection and could not go but we decided to go full speed ahead and went here to have dinner....Had anyone eaten at Cheddar's?? It was great. Here are me and my friends that I love so much and will miss next year.Left side me (front) Deia (back), right side Stephanie (front) and Robbie behind her. Then we headed over to Target to get our last few things for Denisha's baby shower. Has anyone noticed what funky carts that the new Targets have. Well, let me tell you, they are amazing!!! They are so cutie cutie and space age and guess what??? They just glide across the floor and are so smooth to push. None of that rattling going on with these carts. Woo to the Hoo!!!

Just Some Randomness

Well, I haven't been such a great blogger lately due to me not having much to blog about. So this is going to be a post about random things.

This past weekend we went to a surprise birthday party for my son-in-law at one of their friends family farm. It was such a beautiful and peaceful place and we really enjoyed ourselves. Of course I left my camera at home so I had to use my daughters camera and no tellin how long it will be before I have pics to post. But I will post them as soon as I get them.
Also, on Sunday after church Victoria and her favorite cuz Joey were in a little skit after their egg hunt. They presented the Resurrection Egg in Rap style!!! It was so cute and it was different and I think they did an amazing job. Here are the cousins cheeZin for the camera

Tori singing her part of the Resurrection Egg "Rap Style"!!!

You know I am so Thankful for my Jesus for rising from the tomb on that Sunday morning. I am thankful He he is so forgiving that He loves me even when I am not deserving of it.Joey singing his part of the "Rap Style" Resurrection EggThis is my Rebel today when she got home from school!!! When she walked in I thought she looked so cute that I had to take a quick pic of her quirky outfit!!! She will be graduating in less than 2 months so we will be really busy in the coming weeks getting ready for her big day and then she will be getting ready to start her big college career!!! She will be attending a local college in the town next to us. She has been accepted into the Music Program and we are so happy for her that she will get to study what she loves to do in life.
So along with all the graduating preparations there will also be the planning of the baby shower that we will be giving in order to prepare for the arrival of our little Tuff.

I have less than 2 months of work left for myself also as I work at the school and then I will be a stay at home MeMe. Can't wait for this next phase to start in my life. I am sure I will have a lot more to blog about then but will I have the time!!!!

Hope everyone has a great rest of the week and weekend.

Prayer Request For My Cuz, Patrice!!!

Just wanted to put out a prayer request for my cousin Patrice, she is having her Gallbladder out today. And if any of you read her blog (blessingsamidchaos@blogspot.com) you know she is scared to death. I just heard from hubby who says he hasn't had any updates and they took her back at 1:30. So it's been about an hour and a half so please pray that everything is ok.
It's been back to work for me this week after my spring break and it's been kickin my butt!!! I am so ready for summer.
