37 Weeks

37 Weeks and Counting.........

Well, I haven't updated a belly pic lately since I have been out of town or just lazy but now it's time to get down to the nitty gritty and get prepared for Tuff since he is 37 weeks and could make his debut anytime now. Ashley is dilated 1cm still and she will go back on Friday so we will have another update then. I think we are all ready for the little man to get here.

And for a little update on Harrison. April and Brandon have been receiving a few updated pics from Taiwan and boy is he growing!!! He gets cuter each time we see a new pic. Things are rolling right along and I think they are waiting on one last pack of paperwork to fill out and then we just wait. So......we will wait and wait and wait...Maybe by September he will be here with his new family.

It seems like I am just now getting my system back on track from the 1 hour difference in time while I was gone. But now that I am back to normal I told Boogs that I will be setting aside 1 day a week for me. Yep, just me. If I want to eat lunch with my kids or eat lunch by myself or maybe even eat lunch with Boogs, it will be my day to spend as I please. Ha!! I say that and I will end up doing the opposite. But that's just how I am. It doesn't matter what I do on my "me" day or who with but my point is to get out of the house just 1 day a week. It seems I am starting to get too comfortable just being at home and not going anywhere. I definitely don't want that to happen.

Anyway, Hope everyone has a blessed day and rest of the week.

Happy Father's Day Dad!!1

I just want to say Happy Father's Day to my daddy. I don't get to see him much since he lives in Georgia. But I did go by to visit him when I went down to Florida. We went and spent the day with him and his garden and 500 or so chickens. We had a good visit and good food.

So Happy Father's Day Dad, I love you!!! Hope you have a great day!

Happy Father's Day Boogs!!!

Happy Father's Day Boogs!!!
We went and had a Father's Day breakfast at Cracker Barrel yesterday morning since Boogs works on the weekends. So he was really lucky to have all 4 girls there with him. We had a great time of good food and conversation. Hope all the father's and father's to be will have a great Father's Day!!
This is when he is the happiest, if you can't tell by the smile on his face. When he has all his girls surrounding him. We are all blessed to have this man in our lives as a dad and husband. I couldn't have asked for a better daddy for my children. He has always been a hands on daddy, always willing to step in and do whatever needed to be done as far as changing, feeding, rocking, singing, whatever involved being a dad he did with love. And patience, goodness, this man has more patience than I could ever think about having. He has always showed them love and compassion, taught them right from wrong, to treat others as you would want to be treated. And most of all to always keep God on your side. Because without Him we wouldn't have nothing.
So I hope that his girls will take his love, patience, compassion, love of God and pass it down to their children because I wouldn't want our grandchildren to miss out on all that goodness!!!

Daddy and his first daughter, April

Then comes the second, Ashley

and then comes the third, BreeAnn

and last but not least the fourth, Victoria

Boogs, hope you have a great Father's Day and I just want you to know that I feel truly blessed to have you in my life as a husband and the father of our children. You are my best friend and I love you more than breathing!!!

A Visit With Dad

Me, my 2 sisters, Tori and my great nephew Austin took a day trip to see my dad one day while I was home. He lives about an hour and 45 minutes away from my moms in Georgia. It was the first time my oldest sister Lisa has been to visit and she really enjoyed herself.
As you can see the golf cart is always a big hit. Every time we go Victoria heads straight to the golf cart. My dad will be 71 this year and he really gets around good and keeps himself busy.

Victoria managed to get Austin to sleep by riding him around the yard in the golf cart

As you can see in the background, my dad raises chickens. Has raised them all my life and to this day I just don't like chickens.

This is rare to have all 3 of us together for a pic

A Little of This and That

Just wanted to update everyone on the happenings around the Taylor household!!
I have been out of town for 2 weeks so I haven't been able to post. I had a great time visiting with the family. I painted my mom's bedroom for her and also painted her dresser which turned out great. Went to help my oldest sis with a banquet she cooks for at the end of every year and also on another day went to help her clean her cafeteria for some last minute sprucing up. Spent time with some old friends that we grew up with and ate some good ole Florida seafood that we don't get here in Tn.

I also got to spend some time with my nieces and great nephew. I would post pics but for some reason it won't let me upload anymore.

Last Wednesday while I am at my mom's Ashley calls to let me know that she is dilated to 1 cm and 60% effaced (did I spell that right?) Anyway she was really excited but I think Tuff should wait a few more weeks. She is only 36 weeks so he could use another few weeks.

BreeAnn has started a new job at our local 4-H office and loves it. It is only suppose to be for the summer as it is a summer youth program. Not long and she will be starting college.

Hubby missed me terribly and I miss him. It's nice to be home and in my own bed.

Hope everyone has a blessed day.
